What lasers can be used to remove red facial veins?
At Newman Dermatology, we have several lasers that can remove red facial veins. All the lasers are safe with minimal to zero downtime. Some lasers are safe to use on black skin. The lasers use either heat or a specific wavelength of light that targets hemoglobin and leaves the normal skin unaffected. The results are immediate. What is the aftercare for these lasers?
The aftercare for these lasers is minimal to zero downtime. Sometimes the area will be slightly red for a few days until the skin fully heals. Sun protection is advised. All normal activities can be resumed and most products, including makeup, can be immediately used.
